"If you plan for the future, don't forget about the past."
- Milenko Matanovic
Meaningful public participation is essential to creating an ICSP and Cultivating Creston belongs to everybody who works, lives or plays in Creston. Whether you are a business, a resident, a visitor or a member of another community, we want to hear from you.
The Town of Creston, along with public involvement including the Community Sustainability Action Team (CSAT) and guided by the Whistler Centre for Sustainability, is developing an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP) called Cultivating Creston. This plan will guide all plans, policies and decisions for the Town of Creston, as well as guide decision-making for businesses, organizations and community partners. While the CSAT are the main architects and designers of the plan, public input is being solicited for incorporation through on-line and in-person opportunities during the process. The resulting ICSP comprises a shared community vision and framework for implementation of an ongoing community sustainability plan.
