The annual Household Hazardous Waste Round Up Event organized by the Regional District of Central Kootenay will be taking place on Saturday, September 18 in the Millennium Park parking lot (215-16 Ave. S., Creston) from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. This event provides an opportunity to responsibly dispose of residential household hazardous waste materials for free! Please note that only RESIDENTIAL household hazardous waste will be accepted at this event - commercial or industrial loads or volumes will NOT be accepted. Those wishing to make a donation to the local food bank will be able to do so at this event.
