[ARCHIVED] Upcoming COVID-19 Pop-Up Vaccination Clinics In Creston

Here is a list of the scheduled COVID-19 pop-up vaccination clinics in Creston over the next week (no appointment needed): 

  • Tuesday, September 21 at Creston Valley Public Library from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm 
  • Wednesday, September 22 at Creston Hotel & Suites (Jimmy's Pub Banquet Room) from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm 
  • Thursday, September 23 at Pealow's Your Independent Grocer from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm 

The ongoing COVID-19 vaccination clinic runs at the Creston Health Centre (lower level, Creston Valley Hospital) on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (closed 11:40 am - 12:30 pm) and Wednesdays from 12:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Walk-ins or booked appointments welcome! The COVID-19 vaccination is available to anyone born 2009 or earlier who have not yet received their first dose, or anyone who received their first dose more than 28 days ago. 

In British Columbia, from September 9-15, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 75.9% of cases and from September 2-15 they accounted for 86.2% of hospitalizations. After factoring for age, people not vaccinated are 35.1 times more likely to be hospitalized than those fully vaccinated. Read the full news release here
