The second Fall yard and garden curbside pick-up is conducted by Town crews. Its purpose is to dispose of tree prunings, garden waste, and other compostable articles from yards that are not picked up during regular collection. No non-compostable items will be picked up.
- Branches and prunings shall be no larger than 6 inches (150 mm) in diameter, be cut into 3 foot (0.9144 m) lengths and wrapped in bundles.
- Grass clippings, leaves, etc., MUST be placed in rigid, weatherproof containers: e.g., garbage cans. Brown paper compost bags are acceptable. NO PLASTIC GARBAGE BAGS WITH YARD WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The second Fall curbside pick-up is scheduled for October 26, 27 & 28, 2021 (on your regularly scheduled garbage pick-up day).
Please keep all compostable materials separate from household garbage and place at the curb for pick-up.
