CASTLEGAR - Smoke from Washington State may be visible today in many areas of the Southeast Fire Centre.

The communities of Creston, Cranbrook, Trail, Rossland, Castlegar, Nelson and surrounding areas may experience smoky conditions from a 182-hectare prescribed burn occurring near Kettle Falls today, close to Colville in Washington.
