You asked, we listened! The Town of Creston celebrates youth engagement in the Creston Valley with an OPEN HOUSE on February 1st at the Creston and District Community Complex 3:30-5:00pm. Here is your opportunity to see some results of youth engagement in the community!

In 2013, the Town of Creston, in collaboration with the RDCK Area A, B and C Directors, youth, parents and service providers, embarked on a process to develop a Youth Engagement Strategy (YES) for the Creston Valley. The YES Report that was developed through that process identifies goals and recommendations
for a positive and inspiring vision for youth in the area.

Now, we would like to celebrate the accomplishments achieved through implementing the recommendations from the YES Report and recognize what can happen when youth engage in local government decision making processes and volunteer in their community.
