[ARCHIVED] RDCK Seeking Public Comment on Solid Waste and Recycling Services

The Regional District of Central Kootenay has commenced a process to update the regional Resource Recovery Plan. The Plan update will be developed over the upcoming eighteen months and will determine the direction for the delivery of waste and recycling services over the next ten year period.

The RDCK’s next step in the Plan process is to gather feedback from residents about solid waste services currently offered. This will assist the RDCK in determining priorities for new services and programming. A link to a short online survey has been posted on the RDCK website at www.rdck.ca/RRPlan. Participants are eligible to enter a draw to win a $100 gift certificate for a local business of their choosing. The survey will close on Friday, July 7th.

If a community member does not have access to the internet, they may obtain a hard copy of the survey at Town Hall or can call RDCK Resource Recovery at 250-352-8161 or 1-800-268-7325.
