Please be advised that although the notices advising of herbicide application in the treatment of poison hemlock have been removed, the stakes and flagging tape will remain until the plant has been eradicated. Informational signage regarding the plant is also posted in these areas.
It is extremely important to note that in addition to being invasive, poison hemlock poses an acute human health risk. All parts of the plant are deadly to people, livestock, and wildlife when ingested.
