Posted on: March 16, 2020[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Update - Creston & District Community Complex (RDCK)
The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) operates the Creston & District Community Complex. Although all RDCK recreation and park facilities remain open and operational, the RDCK is limiting the number of people who can use the facilities and has closed saunas, hot pools and steam rooms in their aquatic facilities located in Nelson, Creston and Castlegar. The RDCK is cancelling all Red Cross Swim Lessons and Swim Leadership Courses that begin in the next week effective March 15th. Programming for March Break will proceed unless the situation changes and they must be cancelled or rescheduled.
Information about cancellations will be posted on the Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) website: www.rdck.ca
Signs have been posted at all RDCK recreation centres advising that customers who are experiencing flu-like symptoms should stay home.
The RDCK encourages customers to make the best decisions for themselves to self-quarantine or to reduce their social contact.
