The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy announced today that open burning is prohibited in the Creston Valley until April 15th, 2020. This action is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as explained in the links below.

The Creston Landfill will be accepting yard and garden waste for free during April including:
- hedge clippings
- weeds and shrubs
- shrub and tree branches less than 15 cm (6”) in diameter, up to 2.5 m3, or what can fit in a pick-up truck bed.
