Creston, BC April 3, 2020: Council and Staff would like to thank all our citizens for your continued support and cooperation. We are encouraged by the measures you are taking to keep yourselves, your families and each other healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the days continue, and we are all faced with uncertainty and adapting to constant change, we will endeavour to ensure that we continue to share resources, information and supports that are available.
Over the last number of weeks, the federal and provincial governments along with private sector and not-for profit organizations have announced COVID-19 focused business supports. For information on these initiatives please review the links below:

- Community Futures Central Kootenay is providing business support and advice including Weekly Business Community Roundtables on Zoom. For more information visit COVID-19 Support for Businesses.
- Columbia Basin Trust has announced $11.7 million in new funding to provide immediate support for Basin residents impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Small Business Working Capital Loans are for working capital purposes only, such as rent, wages and inventory.
