Creston, BC – May 21, 2020: The Town of Creston continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely to ensure the provision of accurate and relevant information to the community. We are working hard to make sure that the Federal and Provincial Orders and recommendations are being followed,  keeping the health and safety of our staff and the public at the heart of our work. To the residents of Creston Valley, thank you for your support, kindness towards one another, and ingenuity in these trying times. 

Non-Medical Masks: As we move into our "new normal", there may be situations where people will wear non-medical masks for short periods of time when distancing is not possible, like when receiving personal services or while riding a bus. BC Centre for Disease control has developed some tips for wearing non-medical masks. A mask acts as a barrier – it can protect others from your germs. But staying home if you’re sick and physical distancing remain critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19 to read the guidelines visit:

COVID-19 and Workplace Safety Virtual Town Hall - On Thursday, May 21 (tonight) the Province of BC invites you to join Minister of Labour Harry Bains, and Al Johnson, Vice President of Prevention Services for WorkSafeBC as they answer questions from British Columbians about COVID-19 and safely re-starting BC’s businesses. You can watch it live on the Government of BC Facebook page tonight at 7:15-8:15 PM PDT or on the YouTube livestream:
