[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 - July 28, 2020

Creston, BC – July 28, 2020: This week is going to be HOT with temperatures of 35° C and above forecasted for the remainder of the week. While many of us are heading outdoors to visit with friends and family in settings that allow for physical distancing, doing so in extreme heat creates it’s own challenge. Remember to protect yourself from the sun and stay in the shade, wear a hat and protective clothing, including sunscreen. Seek cooler, breezier areas when you are outdoors and enjoy some nice shade trees. Stay hydrated, drinking water regularly and please do not leave your pets alone in a parked car for any length of time.  For more information on staying safe and cool, please visit: http://www.bccdc.ca/about/news-stories/stories/2020/warm-weather-safety-in-a-time-of-covid-19
