Creston, BC – August 18, 2020: The Provincial state of emergency has been extended until the end of the day September 1, 2020, to continue to support the Provincial response to COVID-19. Please do your part to keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy by staying informed and following federal and provincial health recommendations.

B.C.’s Back to School Plan: B.C.’s Back to School Plan has been updated to include new health and safety measures. Emergency Support for Vulnerable People during COVID-19: The Province has extended the provincial temporary crisis supplement for people on income or disability assistance and low income seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Province’s temporary COVID-19 Crisis Supplement, provided since April, will be extended for an additional four months. No action is required, the temporary $300.00 crisis supplement will continue to be automatically applied to cheques distributed Sept. 23, Oct. 21, Nov. 19 and Dec. 16.
