Updated BC Centre for Disease Control COVID-19 Data: As of yesterday, the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) website has new information posted regarding COVID-19 data by Local Health Area. From November 29 - Dec. 5 there was 1 COVID-19 case in Creston, with a total of 14 positive COVID-19 cases in Creston at the end of November.
The BCCDC data page - http://www.bccdc.ca/hea.../diseases-conditions/covid-19/data now includes the following:
- The new Local Health Area (LHA) map will be updated on a weekly basis. The first update was yesterday; going forward it will be updated every Wednesday.
- A downloadable file of aggregate case data by Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) will be updated daily on the BCCDC website.
- The new HSDA-level data as well as health authority data have also been added to the BCCDC Comparisons App, allowing users to make custom visualizations and download them.
- The BCCDC is also going to start posting the seven-day rolling average on their dashboard. This average gives a better picture of the general trends instead of big peaks and valleys that can occur when cases are added to the public health databases Interior Health maintains.
