Creston, BC January 28, 2021: COVID-19 has affected every aspect of our lives, including our mental health. According to Canadian Mental Health Association, 38% of Canadians say their mental health has declined due to COVID-19, and people already struggling with their mental health were two times more likely to say their mental heath has declined from the pandemic (from Canadian Mental Health Association). It’s important to know that you aren’t alone if you’re feeling adverse effects of COVID-19 on your mental health and equally important to know that there are resources available to support you. BC Centre for Disease Control Update Weekly Update on COVID-19 Case Counts: From January 17 to 23, 2021 there were no cases new of COVID-19 in the Creston Local Health Area. While our numbers are low, communities surrounding Creston are still experiencing cases of COVID-19. It is important to continue to take all the necessary safety measures to ensure our Town remains healthy and safe.
