COVID-19 Update - April 2, 2021

Creston, BC April 2, 2021: Due to the recent rapid and exponential growth of COVID-19 cases in the Province, there are new and amended public health orders that are in place effective March 30 until April 19, 2021. This includes the suspension of indoor dining at all eating establishments including restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Please continue to support these businesses as they move to take out and delivery options. Like all of our Creston Valley businesses, they work tirelessly year round to serve us all, bringing vibrancy to our community and putting their heart and soul into their businesses.    If you can, bring home take out or enjoy a meal, coffee or snack where outdoor seating options are available under the Provincial Health Officer’s orders.  We will need to continue supporting each other throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.   Town of Creston Council and Staff wish you a safe and happy Easter Long weekend.

Booking your Vaccine Appointment: Starting yesterday, seniors aged 72+ can call to book their vaccine appointment.  To book an appointment in the Interior Health Region call 1-877-740-7747.  Please note that in Creston, when you arrive for your vaccine appointment at the Creston Valley Hospital, you will need to go to the lower level of the hospital (Creston Health Centre) to check in with the receptionist who will then direct you to the vaccination clinic.  To learn more visit:  https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/seniors
