BC Centre for Disease Control Update Weekly Update on COVID-19 Case Counts:   From April 18 to 24, 2021 the BCCDC reported 8 cases of COVID-19 in the Creston Local Health Area. Register for your COVID-19 Vaccination: Everyone in B.C. who is 18 years and older can register on the Get Vaccinated Website https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/register#register or by calling 1-833-838-2323.  After registration you will receive a text, email or phone call when you are eligible to book an appointment.  Please don’t expect to book an appointment the same day you register. The date for your appointment will vary depending on your age and vaccine supply. 

 

BC COVID-19 Speak Survey: The BC COVID-19 Speak Survey is now open.  The survey will address four key areas: 

  • Life during the pandemic 
  • Vaccines
  • Innovation and adaptation
  • Recovery

Circuit Breaker Business Relief Grant:  The Circuit Breaker Business Relief Grant is available to more than 5,300 hotels, motels, and other short-term accommodations.  It remains open to restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, gyms and fitness facilities impacted by the March 31, 2021 provincial health officer orders.  Businesses that previously applied for or received the grant that opened on April 12, 2021, do not need to apply again. They will automatically receive additional funding.  Applications will be accepted until June 4, 2021.  To apply visit: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/economic-recovery/relief-grant
