[ARCHIVED] Stage 2 Water Conservation Measures In Effect For Town of Creston

June 28, 2021: Due to high water usage and declining reservoir levels, the Town of Creston is currently on MANDATORY Stage 2 water conservation measures. Stage 2 water conservation measures in the Town of Creston began on June 23. In Stage 2, watering of lawns, gardens, trees and shrubs are ONLY permitted between 6:00 am - 10:00 am and 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Watering of gardens, trees and shrubs by watering can or hand-held hose is still permitted any time. 

A complete description of the Town of Creston water conservation measures are available here. Stricter water conservation measures may be required if demand increases significantly, hot and dry weather prevails, or stream flows decline to critically low levels. Stage 2 water conservation measures for the Town of Creston will remain in effect until further notice.  

As of today, the Erickson Water System has moved to MANDATORY Stage 3 water conservation measures. To read the full media release, click here
