The deadline for paying property taxes for all property classes and claiming your Home Owner Grant is TODAY, July 2, 2021. Town Hall is open all day today until 4:30 pm. As an alternative to coming in to Town Hall, there are also several contactless payment methods detailed here.

Eligible residential property owners must complete a Home Owner Grant application each year, regardless of how your property taxes are paid. Mortgage companies and banks CANNOT claim the Home Owner Grant on your behalf. 

The Home Owner Grant MUST be claimed online at gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant, or by calling to speak to a Provincial agent at 1-855-355-2700. We can also assist you here at Town Hall with claiming your Home Owner Grant. 

The Home Owner Grant must be applied for on or before July 2, 2021 to avoid late payment penalties.
