Events are a great way to encourage community vibrancy and to celebrate. The Community Planning and Development Team is here to guide you through this process.
An outdoor event can be defined as an organized activity (community, sporting, cultural or other) occurring for a limited or fixed duration (i.e. one-time or annual), held over one or more days and available to the public.
Birthday parties, staff luncheons, picnics, or similar gatherings with fewer than 50 people invited, expected or attending during the event.
In general, casual uses do not require a booking. Users are welcome to enjoy public spaces for picnics and birthday parties without formal approval from the Town of Creston. Please note, these types of events are not permitted to exclude other members of the public from the event area.
If you’d like to reserve the picnic area within Centennial Park for exclusive use, please submit an event application. Please note, bookings are limited to 3 hours.
50-499 people are invited, expected, or attending during the event.
Event application required.
