Budgets (Five-Year Financial Plans)
Council sets the requirement for taxation annually after carefully reviewing the Financial Plan to determine which projects to fund, defer, or cancel. It is a balancing act of maintaining existing levels of service while ensuring that our valuable community assets are maintained, improved upon or replaced as needed.
We encourage public participation in the budget process, through participation in an annual survey, attendance at Committee meetings where the budget is discussed, or by reaching out to Town Hall. The budget is approved by May 15 of each year.
