The Town of Creston is pleased to be participating in the 100 Radon Test Kit Challenge, offering 100 FREE radon test kits to residents within the Town limits. Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that has no colour, smell, or taste — but it can accumulate in enclosed spaces like homes and become a serious health risk. Long-term exposure to high radon levels is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. The only way to know your home’s radon level is to test for it.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this free testing opportunity and help make our community healthier and safer.

Join the free Radon Information Session on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 PM (MST) via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you after you register.
Test Kit Pick-Up:
Pick up your radon test kit between Friday, November 14 and Friday, November 21 at Creston Emergency Services Building (1505 Cook Street) Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (closed from 12:00–1:00 PM)
