As our community grows, new homes, businesses, and developments create a need for things like roads, water systems, sewer infrastructure, and other community services.
That's where Development Cost Charges (DCCs) come in. DCCs are fees paid by developers to help cover some of the costs of the infrastructure needed to support growth, helping ensure existing taxpayers aren't left covering the full bill.
The Town of Creston is reviewing and updating its DCC program, and we'd like to hear from you. Your feedback will help ensure the program is fair, transparent, and reflects our community's values while supporting sustainable growth.
