The Town of Creston is pleased to be participating in the 100 Radon Test Kit Challenge, distributing 100 FREE radon test kits to residents of the Town of Creston.
Why it matters: Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell, or taste — but it can build up in your home and pose serious health risks. In fact, long-term exposure to high levels of radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. The only way to know your home’s radon level is to test for it, which is why this free program is such an important opportunity for Creston residents.
