The Splash Park at Centennial Park will be taking a short break from June 15 to June 22, 2026, while it gets a fresh new surface.
After years of helping kids beat the heat, the rubberized surface has officially reached retirement age. It has exceeded its lifespan and can no longer be effectively patched, which has left some exposed concrete and created slipping and tripping hazards. In other words, it's time for a makeover!
The good news? Once the work is complete, the Splash Park will be refreshed, safer, and ready for another summer of squeals and splashes.
