The Creston Valley Housing Corporation’s (CVHC) new childcare and housing development is getting underway at 1501 Cedar Street, and residents can expect intermittent road closures on Cedar Street south of Millennium Park over the coming weeks.
Large trucks will be entering the site to deliver and unload construction materials and equipment. For everyone’s safety, the road may be temporarily closed when barricades are in place during unloading activities. Once deliveries are complete, the road will reopen to traffic.
Drivers are asked to use extra caution when travelling through the area and to follow all signage and instructions from on-site personnel.
As part of early construction preparations, the south parking lot at Millennium Park is currently closed. This closure is in place due to potential open manholes and the storage and delivery of construction materials within the area.
There is currently no confirmed timeline for when the parking lot will reopen. Updates will be provided as the project progresses.
